Ian was the voice of edCircuit and MindRocket Media for two years, ghostwriting articles on education and knowledgeably writing on such subjects as social/emotional learning, edtech, the changing role and application of assessments in the classroom, education policy, education law, and stories from the classroom. In addition to writing the articles, Ian was responsible for choosing the graphics and building the webpages on the edCircuit website. Articles written for edCircuit were picked up and published by Huffington Post, Forbes, MSNBC and CNN, as well as established education websites such as Edutopia, Ed Week, and many others.
