Gordon the Mouse is a character in the webcomic "Alden by Egan. Gordon is a MOUSE. Calling him a rat or hamster or anything but a pure Mus musculus will get your eyebrows removed. Kinda like calling an Irishman “British.”
  Gordon is a mechanical wiz. Small engines seem to heal themselves in his hands. He’s a cynical coffee addict who is frequently grumpy. He HATES getting blood in his caffeine system. He doesn’t suffer fools gladly; his sarcasm has knocked crows off a fence from 30 paces away. He is a long-suffering best friend to Alden.
